Terms of Service

1. The service

Directa is an AI-assisted video production service. You send a brief, we write a script and storyboard, you approve it, and only then do we make the film, paid from your credits. Finished films are delivered to your account. Your first storyboard, and chat with your producer on that job, are free. After that, each storyboard and producer chat is charged from your credits at what it costs us to generate plus 25%, about ₹11 per storyboard.

2. Your account

• You need an account to brief, approve and download films. Keep your login safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person or business. Accounts may not be shared or resold.

3. Credits and payment

• Credits are bought in fixed-price packs through Razorpay. The price, and GST at 18%, are shown before you pay. [BLOCKED-for-approval: confirm GST registration and add your GSTIN]
• Credits are spent on renders, and on storyboards and producer chat after your first job (see section 1).
• New accounts receive a one-time first-film credit worth ₹7,999 at sign-up.
• Pack credit is valid for the period shown on the pack: 6 months for Starter and Growth, 12 months for Scale and Studio, from the day you buy it. When it expires, the pack's unused films, and the credit for them, are removed from your balance. Your account shows each pack's expiry date. Other credits do not expire.
• If a payment is refunded through Razorpay, the credits it bought are removed from your balance.

4. Renders and delivery

• A render is charged from your credits when it starts.
• If we do not deliver a film (it fails our quality checks, the generation service is unavailable, or something fails on our side), the render charge goes back to your credits automatically.
• Where a film has a frames review, you get two free redos. Cancelling at the frames review returns the full render charge to your credits.
• Delivered films are available only to you, through your account.

5. Your content and rights

• You must own or have permission for everything you upload: footage, music, logos, brand marks and the people who appear in them. Do not upload films, trailers, games or other material owned by someone else unless you have a licence.
• You give us the permission we need to process your uploads to make your film, and nothing more.

• We may refuse or stop a job that would infringe someone's rights or break the law. If we stop a job, any render charge for it is returned to your credits.

6. Acceptable use

No illegal content, sexual content involving minors, hate or harassment, impersonation of real people without consent, deceptive political or financial content, or content that infringes intellectual property.

7. AI-generated output

Films are made with AI tools and checked by automated quality gates, but they can still contain errors. Review every film before you publish it.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any film is limited to the credits you paid for that render. [BLOCKED-for-approval: confirm the liability cap with your lawyer]

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version on this page. You can close your account at any time by writing to us. [BLOCKED-for-approval: state what happens to unused credits when an account is closed]

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [BLOCKED-for-approval: city, for example Bengaluru] have jurisdiction.
